Once a vehicle is three years old, A valid MOT test certificate becomes a legal requirement to drive on UK roads. A vehicle’s MOT certificate must be renewed annually, and the annual test must be carried out by a Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) authorised garage. The test checks:
